[HAMLET curse quote]

By Jacob Cowan

June 2021, Pride Fest, The Tank

Are you coming home for the funeral?

Who left the refrigerator door open?

What defines a haunting?

In one evening, June, a nonbinary poet lost in NYC, gains a daddy, and loses a father. Over the course of the following weekend, they rekindle relationships, settle debts, bake a cake, sing Joni Mitchell, and practice BDSM, all in their childhood home just outside of Philadelphia. The house, full of ghosts (some more familiar than others), looks different at night.

[HAMLET curse quote] is both an admiration and an admonishment of the narratives we tell ourselves, and those we inherit. [HAMLET curse quote] is still in development and is now titled Ghost Daddy.
